1. Terms of Service
By creating an account and using StreamKey you agree to these terms. Accounts are for personal use only. Misuse, including credential sharing for commercial redistribution, may result in account suspension or termination.
2. Subscriptions
Subscriptions are purchased and managed through third-party app stores such as Google Play, the Apple App Store, and the LG Content Store. Billing, cancellations, refunds, and store-specific purchase policies are handled by the store where the subscription was purchased. We do not process payments directly. Deleting your StreamKey account does not cancel the store subscription; you must cancel it yourself in the store where it was purchased.
3. Privacy Policy
We collect only the data needed to operate the service, such as your email address, account credentials, device identifiers, and optional sync data like favorites, watch history, and app settings. We use this information only to provide account access, device management, and sync features. We do not sell your personal data or share it with third parties for advertising purposes.
4. Data Retention
Your account data is retained while your account remains active. You can delete your account yourself from the app or from the Delete Account page on the web portal after signing in. When you do, account information, user preferences such as favorites and continue watching, and user-generated content associated with your account are deleted from the service immediately. If you submitted a bug report, logs and screenshots you provided voluntarily may be retained for a limited period for troubleshooting and then deleted automatically. We do not retain your personal data after account deletion except where required for legal or security reasons, and any such retained data is kept only for the minimum required duration and then deleted. Local app data stored on your own devices may remain on those devices until you remove the app or sign in again with another account.
5. Security
We use industry-standard safeguards to protect account data, credentials, and synced information. Access to the service is protected with secure authentication, encrypted transport in production, and regular operational review of account and infrastructure security.
6. Third-Party Services
StreamScape integrates with third-party services to provide metadata and watch-tracking features. TMDB (The Movie Database): Movie, series, and cast metadata is sourced from TMDB. StreamScape uses the TMDB API but is not endorsed or certified by TMDB. For more information, visit themoviedb.org. Trakt.tv: If you choose to connect your Trakt.tv account, StreamScape will send watch activity (what you watch, when you start and stop) to Trakt on your behalf. You can disconnect it later from your StreamKey account settings. Your use of Trakt is subject to Trakt's own terms of service and privacy policy at trakt.tv/terms. We do not share any other personal data with these services beyond what is needed to provide the features described.
